Mammalian Blood Pressure - Reflex Regulation (Traditional Chinese)
This laboratory is designed to follow on from the introductory Mammalian Blood Pressure and Blood Flow laboratory and illustrates the reflex regulation of arterial blood pressure.Students will record arterial blood pressure from an anesthetized small mammal, such as the rabbit. This laboratory investigates the role of the neural system on blood pressure regulation with various exercises using electrical stimulation or perfusion pressure changes to investigate the function of the;
- carotid sinus,
- vagus nerve,
- and depressor nerve.

Location and innervation of arterial barorecptors.
